The Creative Media and Content Coordinator will be responsible for developing, producing, and managing engaging digital and visual content across various media platforms to strengthen brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and amplify impact stories. This role requires creativity, strong storytelling and graphics design skills, and the ability to translate organizational goals into compelling media and content outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Management
- Plan, create, and manage multimedia content (text, video, graphics, photography, audio) for social media, website, newsletters, and external platforms.
- Develop creative campaigns to drive brand awareness, fundraising initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate the production of impact stories, press releases, and thought-leadership pieces.
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice, organizational goals, and messaging guidelines.
Media & Creative Production
- Oversee the creation of high-quality photos, videos, animations, and infographics.
- Manage media coverage of organizational programs, campaigns, and events.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to ensure timely delivery of creative outputs.
- Maintain a media archive of photos, videos, and content assets.
Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Manage and grow social media presence across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube).
- Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools; provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Implement strategies to increase engagement, followers, and online visibility.
- Support online campaigns and live-streaming of key events.
Branding & Communications Support
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all internal and external communication materials.
- Assist in preparing media kits, campaign toolkits, and branded assets.
- Work closely with internal teams to translate program updates into compelling communication materials.
- Support media relations by drafting press notes, coordinating interviews, and managing media requests.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Arts, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in media, communications, or content creation roles (NGO, corporate, or creative agency).
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills (for both print and digital platforms).
- Proficiency in multimedia production tools (Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, Final Cut Pro, Graphic design, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms and run digital campaigns.
- Experience with photography, videography, or audio production is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity, innovation, and a keen eye for design and detail.
