 OUR WORK.

Slum2School is focused around advocacy, community interventions, policy formulation, and youth engagement. As a volunteer-driven organization, we work with thousands of volunteers across slums, hard to reach villages and underserved communities where we engage the community to find the best sustainable solution to provide education for children and young people. We build new learning centres, collaborate with community schools to improve education quality and work in partnership with the government to improve the public schools if they exist in these communities.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

These programs include periodical visits to various communities where our beneficiaries live. We carry out advocacy, train, and offer support services in health, family planning, gender-related issues, skill acquisition, and distribution of food, educational, and other relief materials.

VIRTUAL LEARNING PROGRAM

The Virtual Learning Program targets learners in Junior Secondary School to Senior Secondary School (JSS1 – SSS3) and is run through digital tablets. Each learner receives a tablet pre-loaded with learning content and learning is coordinated and monitored by facilitators and trained teachers.
